Our owner developed an avid passion for motorcycles, riding and racing as a young child, which only flourished once he was old enough to get into the game himself. As any experienced rider knows, making the call to purchase that dream motorcycle is only the first step in the process—top-tier bikes require ongoing maintenance and upkeep to keep them riding in the best possible condition. Because the owner of Hellbent knew that his passion for being on the road wasn’t going to subside, he decided to learn the art of wrenching himself so that he could afford to give his bike the care it deserved. It was this decision that provided the initial spark for the idea that eventually grew into the flourishing, cutting-edge Hellbent Choppers, Inc.
He always had a vision for the type of motorcycle shop he wanted to own and operate—from the types of state-of-the-art work he wanted to perform to the smaller details, such as how the shop should look and be laid out. After owning and operating several smaller shops in the Long Island area, we eventually expanded into what today is Hellbent Choppers, Inc.’s one-of-a-kind 5,000 square foot facility in Deer Park.
Along the way, he also used his expertise in motorcycle repair to fight his way to victory in the AMRA National Championship, which he won by a nail-biting .004 of a second in 2016 after making several smart mechanical tweaks to his bike to overcome a series of drivetrain issues during the qualifying rounds.
